I have seen this being demonstrated during a showing of Matt Hayes on TV when he was in France. I must say a bizarre way to catch or induse fish in to the swim but it did work. Ron is your best man for this |

As a cat feeds in two different ways ....and one is ...from vibration and noise waves that travel through the water, Clonking is a vey good metnod of attracting thier attention
this is also why the bouy rig works too, as its sending signals down through the water |

Is this a normal sound that a cat makes under water.. Why does this technique work as well as it does? |

According to some people, the sounds created by the clonk bear a striking similarity to the sound of feeding fish attacking baitfish near the surface. It seems that everyone has their own theory of what the clonk's sound mimics that provokes a cat's curiosity. It's been written that clonking resembles the sound of struggling carp on the surface, or other catfish feeding, or perhaps the sound of cormorant droppings hitting the surface of the water. We may never know what the clonking sound signifies but one thing is for sure, there must be something more to it. |

It must just be a vibration or a ressinance issue
