What does 'et hop' mean and how should you use it?

Oh damn, here goes........ Qu'est ce c'est 'et hop' et comment vous devez l'employer?

Et pourquoi 'question' est-elle feminine? Il n'y a pas un 'e'!

Bet I got loads wrong! (And let me say I don't do tenses other than present right now.........!)

It's quite informal (do not use in a pro context) but it's not vulgar or rude.
It means (gee that's an hard one) "hup" as an exclamation and is often use to say "job done" : "et hop, voila c'est fait."
You can also translate it as, "here we go" when it's "allez hop"
It means hurry-up when it's repeated "hop hop hop" means "come on, hurry up"

Et hop !
