Arrived Friday at noon and decided on swim three, fishing by 1400. Takes started within a few hours, I managed 10 in this swim.
Saturday morning I thought I would tidy swim two up, you couldnt tell it was swim two as a lot of dead trees and fallen in the lake in front of it and it was well grown over. I set about it with a spade and loppers, iv made a bench too, I hope I did the right thing. It is now fishable.
Sunday morning I moved down to the first swim and had a further 4 including a near 32lb common. In fact every fish was a common, most around the 20lb to 25lb mark.
Swim one, looking towards the dam end of the lake.
Swim two
Swim three, I fished here for the first two nights
Swim four looking back towards the dam
Swim four looking up into the pads bay

Well done Kev. Swim two looks good now. It looks like you had alot better weather than Ryan and myself had earlier in the week. We had storms, rain and plenty of cloud cover. |
