Anyone getting thier lines wet?

anyone out this weekend?

i'm out Sunday through to Friday on Monks Pit Godmanchester.

Really looking forward to it, been a while since i had my lines in the water.   Going to spend Saturday annoying the wife getting bait (boiling up a bunch of hemp) and gear ready.
trevfish61

Have a good one Al, I cannot get out till Monday, when i will be fishing Northfield or Hightown in Ringwood,Hampshire, regards Trev.
Big Al

This spell of warm air(south-westerly) should help the matters, the carp down here on my  club waters have not yet started to feed before the mating ritual takes place.

Hi Darren,I havent had much time to fish lately, went down to the Stour the other eve and had a laugh catching roach, dace, chublet etc, I cant wait to get out to the lake in sept also, hope to see you there,Tre.
Hodster

just ended a barren spell, well 7 nights (which felt like forever) without banking a carp.... the tally of the 7 nights was 2 cats, one bream, one lost carp and one lost landing net (in my haste to get to work i rushed out the swim without packing the net in the quiver  Crying or Very sad )

monday night went better and i had a 21 mirror, confidence regained and on a change of bait, change of rig and change of tactic  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy  back in business and raring to go for this weekends fishing when i will get to fish the whole weekend as opposed to the usual 10 hour overnghters i have been doing, happy days !!!
trevfish61

Well done Hods, thats the same way my fishing goes, some times i get so peed off i go to a piece of backwater on the stour and catch a few roach, perch, bream and even gudgeon!! At the moment I am after my first river carp,I've had the blighters swiming right over my bait even nudging it,but so far nowt, but i'm sure it will happen,so if anyone s got any tips on river carping I'm all ears. I may try the Royalty next week when the kids go back to school(bless em!!!),Trev.
