I am looking at getting a 27lt one so I can do bulk. Far easier than a saucepan.

I brought a 10ltr one last christmas from ebay £15 even at this size it is ample for all my particles, I can do roughly 5k+ hemp in a go, ideal for the large particle as well i.e not a waste just doing 3k of nuts!, 27 ltr is a big old tin. I can do 4 boils ( reusing the water ) in a day and fill the old bait freezer!

One or two sugars AC or are you sweet enough!

Well I didn't realise how big this is. 6.5 gallon of water and a magnet on the meter and away I went.
15kg of maize
2kg of chick peas
10kg of hemp
10kg of chilli hemp
2 kg of Tigers
The only draw back so far is "where do I get a bigger freezer"

Mmmmm sounds tasty! Maize, chick peas and chilli hemp - all you need is a bit of rice, a few extra spices and you've sorted out the fish and yourself in one go!
Half a sugar for me please ....and AC is definitely sweet enough.
You're not offering a bacon butty too are you? (She said wistfully.....)

hi.. here's one for you... If you want to bind particles up for say, catapulting or to absorb all the most excellent liquors that the particles give out during boiling, then try adding Cuscuos (is that how you spell it?).
There's no need to boil just add to the liquor and leave for a day... I use it when spodding as it gets all the goodness in the liquor down to where the fish are.. Also I always add quite a lot of sugar and salt before boiling and a good slug of Mollasis (again dodgy spelling) when the gloop has cooled down.. works for me!!
A good additive for tigers: condensed milk.
A good additive for hemp: Marmite dissolved in Rennet.

There u go Trish.
Is milk bad for fish?
I have used it myself for close range just to cloud the water.

I just got one given to me if I cook some hemp for a small tackle shop, only thing is it has no cover for the element anyone know where I can get one or any ideas? I have turned a metal/tin flan dish upside down and drilled some holes in it and now got a metal wire wastepaper bin to cook particles in!! I have been told that it's good to put particle inside a pillow case to cook it in,what do you think??
