Chantyi'm told it's been socked with a huge amount of stockies, my planned trip in May next year is now off, i'm not going to that effort to catch stockies.
was going to fish the tree stump swim as well Ron, is it 27, or 28, with the big gravel bar on the right hand side, shhh!
i can't talk my buddies into doing the River Soane, i've got a couple of hot spots gagging for it too! now planning on doing Freedom Lakes, it's currently being stocked with 30+ fish only, huge bunch of 40's, decent armfull of 50's and at least one 60 - all stocked weight before being fed on pellets for about 6 months.

If it's the same one, I was lucky enough to fish "Freedom Lakes" April this year, it was JoJo's 2, I believe the baillif at the time,Mark (I think his name was) is now a partner with Jean-Paul somebody who is a fish farmer and other partner, if it is the same lake it's lovely, if i remember about 15-20acres with at the time fish to about 40lbs,but the lake was not quite ready and the fish were a bit "fresh", should be right spring next year.

You are right Trev ....Mark does have a fish farmer as a partner which explains all the big fish
