Chod rigDo you feel confident with this rig. I have used it on many occasions in weedy conditions and to be honest have not had many results. The concept of the lead being away from the hook length does appear to be good leaving the baited hook free . What are your veiws??

Never used it personaly :? on weedy waters I like to use a Boat 
for droping baits and fish safety

With this rig and weedy conditions I dont feel it would be appropiate for this type of fishing. I can and agree a boat would be a ideal way to use this for bait concentration but would the rig sit right? If you was to use a stiff rig as the hook lenght I feel it may , but also it would compromise the efficiency of the rig.
If the weed was that dense / tall a zig rig would be of more benefit

I would never use a chod rig in weedy conditions, I havent fished much in weed but the chod rig has no way of disposing of the lead and could easily cause a fish to get tethered,Trev.
