Depth of lakeHi Ron what is the average depth of the lake and construction please.i.e silt , clay etc

To be totaly honest I have yeat to map the lake out yet ....just have not had time on each visit, as they have been so quick, I will be out there for much longer on the next one ...as I will be starting on the swims so will do it then

i have an echo on my microcat so i'll jot some depths down when i get out there... my map drawing leaves a bit to be desired thou...

Not a bad idea Hodster at all. Average depths would be an advantage for all of us.

If its like the other lakes in that region .....you will find they have a very level bottom just slightly deepening to the Dam for draining.
am out there in a couple of weeks to start swims and put the mobile home in place .....if I get time I will do a map for you to see

Yes much as I said earlier .......deepest at the dam 6 to 7 foot
and the far end its about 3 foot .....its a gradual slop from the bank around the edges, apart from the dam , so you will need waders on most the swims ...to safely land the fish.

Will i need my chest waders or just thigh waders
Will i just disapeer into the murky depths if i go out to far in the chesties

the lake has a very graduel slop from the waters edge ( apart from the dam ) so thigh waders will be fine

Hi, last time I was there I had a wander around on the last day and had my chesties on, they were needed in spots, hope this helps,Trev.
