Lovely Lake

Looks really nice Ron, you must be extremely pleased! :P
Trish

He would be if he wasn't suffering from man flu right now!  Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I'll get him to put some pics up....

From my p.o.v. one of the nicest things about the lake is the chateau owners, Francois and Benoite .... they're absolutely lovely... I don't want them to sound fuddy duddy - cos they're not - but they've old-fashioned 'family' values you don't always get in the UK these days.

They're as worried about their English as I am my French so I'm brushing up with Michel Thomas .... 'la plume de ma tante......' Good job that a smile counts for a lot!

But man-flu is absolutely deadly Trish...  Laughing

Joking aside Trish, I had it for FOUR weeks... only just getting over it now!

At first, as I can only expect, I got very little sympathy from Sylvia, my wife.... oh, my, god.... but didn't I hear about it when she caught it off me!!! Shocked

Poor soul, she thought I was playing on it, she soon found out otherwise, it was 'orrible, reall, really 'orrible  Crying or Very sad  Very Happy  Very Happy

Take my advice and move out for a week or two Trish!!! Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

Oh, alright, it's a fair cop!  Laughing  Laughing

And I do agree Mr Ed.... it is horrible ... I've still got it and it's my second cold in 5 weeks! I think there's a lot in the theory that your body waits till the stress eases and then says 'cop for this' cos I've been working to tight deadlines for the last year... as soon as the pressure let up ....wham!

Hi all, I thought it was us Southern Softies who got Man Flu, Laughing haha, seriously though I hope you all get better soon,Trev   Very Happy ps How big is the lake, and would it be an idea if the lake was to have its own landing nets, unhooking mats, especially as its a virgin water, just an idea.

My mate was born in Portsmouth and I'm always calling her a Southern Softy cos she'll be wearing a coat when I'm in a T-shirt! (Mind you I'm the one moaning on about having had 2 colds in a short space of time.... :?    Rolling Eyes )

I think that's another great idea Trev. Ron was talking to someone on the phone the other day about having landing nets, weigh slings etc over there so I think we're all in agreement about that. The lake's 15 acres I think.

We need a separate thread for syndicate suggestions so we can collect our thoughts and ideas togther and discuss them, don't we?
Big Ron
