I wouldn't feel confident enough to fish a lake that size. No doubt it will come in time Very Happy

Very true Ron. I suppose you should't shy away from your fears. Tackle them head on.

Here's one for you to try Ron.

Lake of Annecy (27 sq. km; mean depth, 45 m) is the second largest natural lake in France

I've only fished little stock lakes in France so far, Clearwaters and JRC a couple of times.   I've wanted to fish a big water for some time now but have struggled to find anyone up for it, convinced a mate to have a go at Chanty next year though.

I also fancy Raduta and Lac du Der, any big lake actually.

These big lakes have got to need a completely different approach to a small stocked lake, much more of a challenge.   I long for the big open space!
