Hmmmm....just between us..... don't tell Ron ...... I don't like them that much......!
He's got a few guiding sessions booked in Spain this year and he wants me to go over so you never know.... I could be converted! |

But that's just me and I know loads of people think they're great. Like I say, I'm waiting to be converted! I still don't like to see them being mistreated though...... Have you seen the YouTube clips? |

to be quite honest ...I used to think the same untill I fished for them ....but once you hook into a big one and feal the pure power ....that soon changes your mind  |

I too have never thought of catching a catfish, I have always been put off by my mates and seeing the state of their nets and mats afterwards,eels are bad enough! although I have had small cats by mistake, that were 8-10lbs, maybe I'll give em a go this year. |

The texture of the fish suprised me to be honest. But after catching one I would love to catch a bigger fish.
