What is the world record as a matter of intrest. I believe the blue catfish record is 643lb. Now that would be a nice suprise.
Should it of counted in the respect it was netted not caught with traditional methods? |

I suppose that it is down to the governing body for the record to stand. There may be a few contributing factors not disclosed |
