What constitutes a run with bite indication. Would you hit a drop back??

I've learnt from mistakes in the past mate, i'll hit anything that bleeps, one bleep, ten bleeps i'll strike, as for backdrops, i'll hit them straight away, i won't wind the slack up to see if it's still there, by that time it might have got off. If there's nothing on, you can soon get it back in, at least you've made sure there's a fish on, or not whichever the case may be and your minds at rest to get on with the next run.
